Most runners chase faster times by piling on miles, chasing workouts, and hoping fatigue and injury don't show up. We have been deluded with deep rooted training mistakes, fitness approaches and nutritional choices traditional trainers, coaches and dieticians told us the past 40 years.

The CENTATHON Longevity Running and Fitness program has successfully transformed the behaviour and practices of our students across various ages, weight classes and fitness levels, ensuring highly effective steps into an enjoyable health and fitness based longevity journey.

You will not only get the knowledge how to transform yourself. You will also get a deep understanding of how to control both your athletic AND metabolic performance and wellbeing- which you can share with the people around you, your family, your spouse, friends, the people you love and concerned with.

You will teach you to monitor and document essential (bio-)markers in personal data-files we will provide, together with our personal advise, help, our operating routines, procedures and structures. 
We work with all students in person 
CENTATHON is a full service program. Marlies Kort and Coach Baz work with all students in person, through online sessions you can schedule yourself, on any date and time convenient for you, via Zoom. We actually provide you with a complete set of devices and tools to monitor all bio-markers as described above. And you will get access to our knowledge bases we developed over the past 2 decennia, the CENTATHON Resources Platforms you will get exclusive and unlimited access to. We will guide you through the resources and we'll teach you the structures and routines to record and document your numbers progress over time, for life.
Bastian Zwaan MSc (Coach Baz) received his degree from the Technical University of Delft, The Netherlands, on Ergonomics and Human Factors, the science of human interaction and design. Bastian (66) is certified neuro-assotiative top-coach and co-founder of CENTATHON, CENTATHON Longevity Running and Fitness, the CENTATHON Longevity Index and The 9Mile Marathon Training System, together with Marlies Kort.
With an avg. CENTATHON Index Score of +30(!), a VO2max of 48, autophagy GKI index score of 80, full Ironman finisher, numerous Ironman 70.3 finishes, and a 4hr marathon finish time Coach Baz wants to be a living example of how the CENTATHON Daily Routines help to improve both lifespan AND health-span.

Marlies (53) studied architecture and interior design, and she is a certified running and fitness coach for 30 years. In 2015 she became World Champion Ironman 70.3 in the Female 40-44 category and she won numerous Ironman 70.3 races such as Aruba, Miami, Tennessee, Panama, Boulder, Cartagena, Austria, Puerto Rico. Top10 marathon finishes in a.o. Boston, New York, Miami, Rome, Berlin, Curacao and Rotterdam. Our aim is to help you develop new routines and reach a new level of metabolic and athletic performance. Many of our students who work with us for a year have secured their new routines and habits for life. Currently we have students who are working with us for 3 years and more, reaching new levels of controlling and securing their metabolic health and their athletic performance on events like half- and full marathons, Ironmans, Hyrox, ultra's and Crossfit style events such as bootcamps, ultra obstacle races and multi-day multi disciplinary outdoor events. Even in their 50's, 60's and 70's. 
First Results In 2-3 Weeks
The CENTATHON system allows to measure and quantify the progress you are making in terms of evidence based data. This applies to both athletic- and metabolic performance.

Our students show first results in just 2 or 3 weeks. Improving their running, their strength and improving measurable metabolic indicators such as your ability to burn fat as your main fuel and your ability to be in a state of autophagy- immediately resulting in better sleep quality, a clearer mind, energy and recovery. Is it worth the cost?
With the CENTATHON Longevity Running and Fitness program we tackle the fundamental question that you face during your lifetime: "What can I do NOW to improve my running, overall fitness, health, quality of life and my longevity?" For students dedicated to collaborating with us in person and willing to put in the work, this program has the potential to significantly alter the course of both your healthspan and lifespan.
We are unable to determine whether the advantages of this program justify the cost, especially when considering the long-term benefits over your lifetime. And, in particular, if you amortize the cost over your life as you should amortize the program benefits over your life.
